Advent devotions: Peace (12/2/2021)

Thursday December 2                         Peace                                 Psalm 85:8-13

Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his faithful, to those who turn to him in their hearts.

Surely his salvation is at hand for those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.

Steadfast love and faithfulness will meet; righteousness and peace will kiss each other.

Faithfulness will spring up from the ground, and righteousness will look down from the sky.

The Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase.

Righteousness will go before him, and will make a path for his steps.

PEACE

Peace is something we always think about when we are stressed out and in a position of not knowing what will happen next. Being at Peace within ourselves is the best and only way to go. For our family this will be the first time in a few years that we will be together for Thanksgiving and I am so looking forward to our family gathering. It is Righteousness that will keep us together as a family forever and ever. Praise to the Lord.

Prayer: Dear Lord, May the Peace of our Lord and Savior be with us each and every day. During these times we are going through we shout to the Lord to watch over us each and every day. So many things have affected us during this past few years and we are so glad that the Lord is with us and helping us through these times. We should never give up and keep the Lord in our hearts and minds. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen
